A team returns to a deep-sea facility where a fatal accident once claimed the workers’ lives. Three years after it was abandoned, the site is set to reopen under new ownership, following the takeover of its Japanese owner by a Chinese company. Kadokura Kengo and his colleague Danzaki join the team sent to restart the facility, located 6,000 meters below the surface. Soon after they arrive, an “accident” leaves Danzaki gravely injured. Kengo is stranded with coworkers he does not trust in a strange underwater world that may conceal something beyond what it first appears.
