Accel World

Haruyuki, an overweight middle school student who is bullied, finds relief in a simple squash game on his school’s local network. While playing, he can forget the painful parts of his daily life. One fall day, Haruyuki meets Kuroyukihime, the school’s beautiful and refined “Black-Snow Princess.” She introduces him to software that opens the door to Accel World: a program that enhances the mind’s capabilities, though it comes with side effects.
