AICO Incarnation

In 2035 Japan, an artificial-life experiment triggers the “Burst,” as a substance called Matter erodes the Kurobe Gorge and turns a research city into a forbidden zone. The government bars entry to the city, which is regarded as humanity’s last hope. Two years later, 15-year-old Aiko Tachibana, who lost her family in the incident, learns from transfer student Yuuya Kanzaki that a secret is hidden within her body. The key to uncovering the mystery lies at the Primary Point, the center of the Burst. Together, the boy and girl face a truth tied to humanity’s future.
