All You Need Is Kill

Humanity is fighting an alien race called the Mimics, which has taken over much of the world and seeks to eliminate the human race. Keiji Kiriya, a new recruit in the United Defense Force, joins the battle against them. On his first day of deployment, Keiji and his unit encounter the Mimics and are killed. He then wakes up back on the day before the battle. Each time he dies, he returns to that same point, caught in a repeating cycle. Keiji must discover why this is happening and how he can escape it.
