Atsuize Pen-chan

Watanabe Yuuichi, known as Pen-chan, loves playing mahjong, though he is not very good at it. His wins and, more often, losses shape a series of short stories about the people around him. Pen-chan’s friends, family, co-workers, and local yakuza all feature in these tales. The stories build toward the final conclusion, where Pen-chan makes the biggest gamble of his life.
