At a school where academic scores determine students’ status, exam results take virtual form and can be used in battles. Akihisa Yoshii, one of the school’s worst students, belongs to Class F, while Mizuki Himeji—a bright, capable student—lands there too after a fever forces her to leave an exam and receive a zero. Class F is stuck with broken furniture and a shabby classroom, in stark contrast to Class A’s comfortable, well-equipped room. Frustrated by the unfair system, Akihisa and his friends plan to challenge the prestigious top class. They hope to win better surroundings for themselves by fighting their way to academic glory.
