Kikuri Hiroi, the 25-year-old “genius bassist,” sings in the indie band SICK HACK and drinks heavily. Her drinking often leaves her short of money, especially when she gets drunk and damages equipment at concert venues. She lives in a 52-year-old apartment with no bathtub, so she sometimes borrows her friends’ showers. When worries about the future arise, Kikuri answers with a booze-fueled “happy spiral.” The story follows her day-to-day life.
