Captain Tsubasa - Rising Sun - FINALS

Captain Tsubasa: Rising Sun - FINALS continues the story of Japan’s match against Spain at the Madrid Olympics. It picks up in the second half of the match, carrying the events of the Rising Sun arc beyond its original published serialization. After creator Yoichi Takahashi announced his retirement in April 2024, the official serialization of Rising Sun - The Final ended halfway through the match. Takahashi chose to continue the story at his own pace through storyboard pencil sketches, released as a web comic.
