Cross Over

Ogata Natsuki is the best player on his junior high basketball team, though the team has never advanced beyond the third round of the prefectural tournament. As he prepares for high school, his friends persuade him to try out for Fujiwara Academy, considered the country’s top basketball school. He moves in with his aunt, who runs a hot springs resort, so he can pursue the opportunity. Natsuki’s small stature makes others doubt his ability, and he struggles to prove himself. He winds up watching a practice game between Fujiwara Academy and St. Mariannu High with Tachibana Mitsuki. St. Mariannu is even weaker than Natsuki’s former team, and Fujiwara’s players toy with them until they no longer want to continue. Natsuki must face the question of whether he can become the number one high school basketball player—and whether Fujiwara is where he will do it.
