Dad, the Beard Gorilla and I

Six-year-old tomboy Michiru faces a new family arrangement after losing her mother in a tragic accident. Her father’s giant younger brother, Kouji—nicknamed the “Beard Gorilla”—moves into the home she holds dear, and Michiru is suspicious of him at first. As they spend time together, their awkwardness fades and the two grow close. Their bond comes to resemble that of a brother and sister more than that of an uncle and his niece.
