Yamaguchi Kumiko is the granddaughter of a yakuza boss and is comfortable with the prospect of inheriting her grandfather’s empire. She leaves the family’s affairs mostly to its other members and their talented lawyer, whom she has a crush on, while pursuing her own ambition: becoming a teacher. To keep her first teaching job, Kumiko must conceal her yakuza ties. Her new post is at a school where she faces tough, difficult students, putting her teaching hopes and hidden background in tension.
