Hanako to Guuwa no Tera

Folklore detective Asou Daisuke prefers ordinary cases, such as cheating spouses and embezzling partners, to supernatural mysteries. He also has a large collection of erotic manga, and the supernatural gives him hiccups whenever he encounters it. Still, people keep seeking his help with “allegories”: stories, often urban legends, that can become real when someone believes in them strongly enough. His first case concerns the Man Under the Bed, an axe-wielding figure threatening Kanae Hiranuma. As Daisuke investigates, he counts his hiccups and wonders about the strange girl in his bathroom.
