Idol A

Satomi Azusa is a popular teenage gravure idol with exceptional baseball talent, but she cannot play for her school’s team because she is a girl. Her father, the team’s coach, devises a plan to get her onto the field by involving her childhood friend, Hirayama Keita, a teenager with little talent of his own who looks remarkably like Azusa. With Keita dressed in a wig and girls’ clothes, even their parents cannot tell them apart. Keita agrees to switch places with Azusa during games so she can pursue her dream. As “Hirayama Keita” becomes a popular player and moves toward a professional baseball career, the pair must keep their identities secret and face the possibility of being discovered.
