Kannagi

Jin carves a statue for a school project from the trunk of a sacred tree, and it transforms into a girl when he takes it outside. She is Nagi, a guardian deity angered that her tree has been cut down. With nowhere else to go, she moves in with Jin and turns her attention to clearing away impurities—by squashing bugs and cleaning up.
