King Golf
Ongoing Released: 2008
At Teirin High School, students belong either to a gang or to the ranks of elite athletes. Sousuke Youki, known as “the predator,” has never lost a fight, but amateur golf prodigy Kazumi walks past him without a glance. Furious at the snub, Sousuke sets out to get revenge. His plans take an unexpected turn when a thuggish golf coach draws him into the sport, raising the question of whether the undefeated delinquent can break records and become the King of Golf. The manga won the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award in the boys category in January 2011.
