Kodoku Experiment

Deronga Five Alpha is a dying, unstable planet once believed to have teemed with diverse life. Now, its vicious carnivores battle for survival, and a research mission led by Captain Bagures ends in catastrophe when she sends a military team to the surface despite the danger. The creatures slaughter the team, and its leader, Cannon, vows revenge on Bagures before seemingly dying. Twenty years later, a spaceship approaches the planet to witness its end. As Deronga Five Alpha explodes, an unknown object attaches itself to the ship. The crew investigates and discovers one of the planet’s creatures, which becomes enraged when it sees Bagures—now a powerful military figure—on a monitor. Could the creature be Cannon, and how can anyone stop something that survives a planetary explosion?
