Lucky Star

Lucky Star follows a group of schoolgirls in their everyday lives at a Japanese high school, with a loose, humorous tone. The story is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, and centers on Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent student whose grades are low despite her abilities. Konata avoids joining a sports club and is lazy about school because she is more interested in anime and video games than anything else. The story begins with Konata, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara in their first year of high school, then follows them as they advance into their second and third years.
