Lying Mii-kun and Broken Maa-chan: Precious Lies

In a rural city shaken by kidnappings and a series of murders, two survivors of an abduction reunite after eight years. Mii-kun, a compulsive liar who narrates the story, and Maa-chan, whose real name is Misono Mayu, begin living together. Their reunion is shadowed by the latest reports of missing children: the children were in Mayu’s apartment. The two carry the effects of what they endured as captives, while the surrounding crimes raise questions about their present circumstances.
