Mayple-san no Koucha Jikan

Years after a devastating war in which humanlike mechanical dolls slaughtered countless people, the surviving machines remain feared and hated. During a storm, Kuro discovers one of them, but she is gentle and cheerful rather than the weapon he expects, and eager to help those around her. She calls herself Mayple and appears to be made for work as a maid and cook. Kuro soon opens a cafe for her to serve sweets and tea to the town. Many residents reject Mayple simply because she is a doll, and some are willing to use violence against her. As she keeps her sunny outlook, Mayple tries to find a place for herself in the post-war world.
