Univas is expelled from the hero’s party despite having contributed the most to the defeat of the Demon King through his ability to bond with spirits, known as Spirit Taming. The hero, Braveban, and the others dismiss his talent, leaving him without a job and in despair. At a Spirit Wedding ceremony, where the hero is set to marry a spirit princess, Univas reunites by chance with Tifon, a Wind Spirit Princess and an old acquaintance. Though treated as a useless outcast by the party, Univas is cherished by the spirit princesses.
