Jigokumeguri Haru is the heiress to one of Japan’s largest business empires, but her wealth and celebrity have left her isolated from her classmates. Her arrogant, aloof manner adds to the distance, and she has repeatedly transferred schools in search of a place where she can belong, without success. That begins to change when she meets Kawayanagi Tsurezure, her new classmate: an outcast who dresses in twentieth-century fashion, speaks little, and rarely smiles. Both are socially awkward, and an unexpected friendship starts to grow between them.
