In rural Hiraya, Nagano, high school student Seta Rinichirou discovers Princess Polilyfa and her knight Krauzera collapsed in a rice paddy after fleeing their kingdom’s attack by an Orc army. They escaped using Gate magic and establish a government in exile at Rinichirou’s home. Their new life brings a jealous childhood friend, the princess Pau, and Krauzera’s fascination with Japanese technology and culture into Rinichirou’s orbit. Amid the otaku references and the unusually dense Rinichirounium, visitors from both worlds begin arriving one after another, setting off a slapstick comedy in the countryside.
