Mangaka Touko Futaba’s professional partnership with her editor is, in some ways, deeper than a romantic relationship. But when her series is abruptly discontinued after its popularity declines, the editor in charge abandons her, leaving Touko on the verge of throwing herself from a cliff. A new editor, Akimoto, steps in with high expectations for her work. His faith in her helps Touko rediscover the desire to write sincerely and regain support for her series.
