Prince and Yamori

Yamori are protectors of the home who serve noble households as more than ordinary butlers, taking on duties as caretakers, escorts, companions, and advisers. Toto, a Yamori in training, studies at different noble houses, where trouble repeatedly finds him. As Toto carries out his work, he witnesses the political, racial, and class tensions affecting his homeland of Mertole. He also becomes involved in a scandal concerning the royal family.
