Rabbit and Owner

Shiro, a rabbit, finds happiness in her life with the blonde-haired boy she calls her owner. Hares are a race of people with soft, cushioned ears and limited understanding. Because they can give birth to female hares, humans place them under their control, using them for hard labor or keeping them as pets. Shiro becomes the boy’s companion and sees him shining in the reflection of her eyes. She wants to spend her joyful days with him forever; to her, that is happiness.
