University student Makoto Osawa and his friend dominate intercollegiate double-scull rowing, aiming to compete in the Olympics alongside Misao, the friend’s girlfriend and the team’s manager. When his friend dies in a racing accident, Makoto is left devastated. He must find a way to pull himself together while confronting the challenges of love and friendship.
