Rewrite: Side-R

Rewrite: Side-R is set in Kazamatsuri, a fictional city transformed by tree planting and afforestation. Trees and flowers have spread through the city, filling its landscape much as buildings fill other urban areas. Although much of Kazamatsuri looks rural, it also retains familiar features of a traditional city. The modern setting has an unusual air of nostalgia, and the story is based around a high school.
