At 27, aspiring musician Rikitaro is running out of time to achieve his dream of becoming a rock star like Jimi Hendrix or Jim Morrison. Ooishi, a three-time world boxing champion, has retired and entered entertainment, where he is filming a boxing reality show. The two men cross paths but think little of it until weeks later, when a record label gives Rikitaro one final chance at a deal—if he gets into better shape. He finds a boxing gym that is also the site of Ooishi’s show. As their paths converge, neither realizes they will work together to train a boxer who may surpass even Ooishi.
