Japan’s under-16 rugby team, known as the Ideal Crew, disrupts the balance of power in school rugby after winning the World Cup. At Rikuzen High, where many members of the former Wonderful Crew live in the same prefecture, the rugby team has given up on expecting to win and takes a relaxed approach to training. That changes when Kinzan Yamada, a rugby newcomer transferring from another school, joins them. He may be inexperienced, but he is ready to take on the world of rugby. The question is whether Rikuzen High is ready for him.
