Eric’s town is invaded by beasts when he is sixteen, and he loses the people he loves. He becomes an officer, but fails to save the woman he cherishes. At last, he dies on the battlefield, surrounded by those he could not protect. Eric awakens in an infant’s body and discovers that his new parents are his parents from his previous life. He has not entered another world or gained a special skill; his memories have simply returned him to the moment of his birth.
