Kurihara Yuzuru is a quiet student who keeps to himself and avoids getting involved in other people's lives. When he transfers to a new school, the prospect of meeting new classmates leaves him anxious and unsure he can make friends. Afraid of being rejected, Yuzuru makes a wish he never expected to make. It leads to an unforgettable first day of class, and to choices that can greatly affect the lives of others—choices he could not bring himself to make before.
