Shut Hell

In the early 13th century, a Tangut woman warrior becomes known as Shut Hell, the Evil One, and is feared even by the Mongols, whose army is said to be the strongest in history. She begins as an ordinary soldier, frightened by the Mongol threat, but repeated brushes with death awaken superhuman strength within her. Across the conflict, the young Mongol prince Yurul is captivated by the writings of his Tangut enemies and worries about the future. The story follows these two figures amid the clash between the Tangut and Mongol worlds.
