Tales of Vesperia

Terca Lumireis is a world sustained by aer-powered blastia, with cities protected from monsters by barriers. Once controlled by the Empire, blastia remains a source of privilege, while guilds form among the poor seeking freedom from imperial rule. After conflict and compromise, the Empire and guilds share a complicated relationship. Despite a war ten years earlier and a disputed succession following the Emperor’s death, the world appears peaceful. Yuri grew up in Zaphias’s lower quarter and joined the Imperial Knights alongside his childhood friend Flynn. Disappointed by their corruption, he left and now helps people in the lower quarter on his own terms. When he meets a mysterious girl named Estelle, Yuri agrees to accompany her after learning that she wants to meet Flynn. Their encounter soon draws many people’s fates together.
