Teiden Shoujo to Hanemushi no Orchestra

In a dark, blood-stained world, humans depend on the fading light of the hotaru, but their desire for it drives them to hunt these creatures for money. The hotaru once brought light to people lost in despair, and came to live alongside them; now their numbers dwindle as humans discard their lives for profit. Nemu is a hotaru who has lost her light. She makes a contract with Haibane, an abandoned baby, and Haibane seeks a way to help Nemu regain it.
