Teni Muhou - Musashibou Benkei

Musashibō Benkei, a warrior monk of Mount Hiei, struggles to find meaning in his immense strength and in his life. A thousand years ago, during an age of peace, his actions shake Japan and leave a lasting mark on the country’s soul. Benkei serves under Hōnen until he begins to feel an emptiness brought on by the burden of his power. When Hōnen descends the sacred mountain with his armed priests, Benkei witnesses something that changes him forever. He is left to wonder why he was born and how he should live, questions whose answers lie only with the heavens.
