The Bullet Saint
Ma Tan Seong Ja

In 1943 Manchuria, expert marksman Kim Ui-ryong receives a secret order from the independence army. Carrying explosives, he infiltrates a covert Japanese government operation and witnesses a ceremony honoring an ancient bronze sword. He destroys the sword as instructed and dies in the process. Sixty years later in Korea, Korean-American culture professor Bae Reta is invited to a secret auction, where she encounters a gun that appears to be an ordinary weapon from the Manchurian independence movement. When people pursuing the gun turn the scene into a bloodbath, Bae is left alone with it and witnesses what happens.
