Abel is a powerful magician whose amber eyes mark him as exceptionally strong in a world where eye color determines magical ability. Though he is a genius, his overwhelming power makes even his comrades regard him with fear and contempt. Hoping to find a place where he will be accepted, Abel transfers his soul far into the future. There, attitudes toward his eye color have changed—but not in the way he expected.
