Kou Reirin, the court’s frail and beautiful “butterfly,” seems certain to marry the crown prince—until Shu Keigetsu, known as the “court rat,” attacks her at the Lantern Festival. Reirin wakes in the dungeons, while Keigetsu has taken her place at court by swapping their bodies. Though Reirin’s situation appears dire to those around her, she finds herself in a robust new body.
