Toji no Miko

Evil beings called Aradama have threatened the human world since ancient times, and shrine maidens known as Toji fight them with swords. Officially called the Special Ritual Maneuver Team, the Toji are authorized by the government to wield their weapons. Five schools, each with junior and senior high divisions, train female students to become Toji. They lead ordinary student lives while using their sword skills on missions to protect people. Each spring, the top Toji from the five schools meet in a traditional tournament, where one especially passionate girl is among those preparing to compete. The direction of her poised sword remains an open question.
