Iska, prince of the Szak territory, is tricked into releasing Nue, an ancient monster sealed away for 400 years. After Nue kills Iska’s father, she is cursed by an evil power and sets out to make amends for her mistake. Taking the stolen katana with her, Iska pursues Nue on a dangerous journey, determined to follow it to the ends of the world and make it answer for its crimes. Legend says the only weapon capable of killing Nue is Yukihira, a famed katana forged by a demon of the Temma clan. In this first volume, Iska tries to find the clan’s village to learn more about Nue.
