Cross Academy separates its students into a Day Class and a Night Class, whose members meet at twilight as one group returns to its dorm and the other heads to school. The nighttime students conceal a dangerous secret: they are vampires. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu serve as the Academy’s Guardians, protecting the Day Class from the Night Class’s true nature. Their role places them between the two groups as they keep the school’s secret from the students they guard.
