A high school student falls for Natsuki, a remarkable new arrival from another school. Though he keeps his feelings to himself, he soon learns that she is bold enough to break a troublesome senpai’s arm and send him to the hospital—and that she has also damaged his bass guitar. He continues to pursue her and discovers that beneath her abrasive behavior, Natsuki is kind, though she tries to keep her distance from other people. She is set to marry after graduation, which helps explain why no one at school seriously reprimands her for her actions. As his feelings grow, so does the sense that they may be mutual, while the senpai also falls for Natsuki after hearing her sing in a music shop.
