About Things That Haven’t Occurred Yet

After killing a dragon for the first time in a thousand years and ending a devastating war, legendary Slayer Dominic Regennon is appointed escort knight to Adelheid, the king’s controversial concubine, rather than receiving the rewards he believes he deserves. Adelheid is a princess from a fallen kingdom, destroyed by the king she now serves. Her previous escort knights were punished for allegedly falling in love with her. Believing her vulgar and unworthy of love, Dominic keeps his distance, but time spent with her gradually challenges his assumptions. The woman he once despised becomes someone he is willing to give everything to protect and love.
