After The Possessor Left

Princess Anais of Belfast returns after a lightning strike to find that a possessor has left her with a massive fraud to answer for. In a continent ruled by a black dragon, these mysterious newcomers disrupt the peace by pursuing the Crown Prince, seeking contract marriages with the Northern Duke, or challenging the dragon itself. The dragon executes them, and order gradually returns—until the thirty-third possessor appears in Belfast. Unlike those before her, the thirty-third possessor wants no prince or duke. She runs a scam, hoping to make a fortune and escape to the imperial capital. When lightning strikes her, the real Anais wakes from a sleep before her nineteenth birthday, bewildered to discover what has happened in her name. Then Elliot, commander of the Azure Dragon Knights and a possessor hunter, arrives to take her away.
