Ai Kara Hajimaru

Sakura Ai loves sunflowers because they resemble the sun, the same meaning as the name of her first crush, Taiyou. She fell for him in third grade, but he called her “O-baa-chan,” or “Grandma,” and Ai has not loved anyone else since. Now a first-year high school student, Ai is introverted and still devoted to sunflowers. When she meets a boy named Taiyou, memories of her childhood crush return. As Ai enters her fifteenth summer, the two begin to grow closer, and her first love may finally begin.
