Alisa of the Silver Hair

This collection of short stories includes a two-part tale about Alisa, a girl betrayed by three jealous childhood friends and left to die in a pit. She survives underground and trains herself to become smarter, faster, and more beautiful than those who abandoned her. Years later, Alisa returns seeking revenge. Her time underground has turned her hair silver, leaving her former friends unsure whether the woman before them is truly Alisa or only a reflection of their guilty consciences.
