Tokyo is gripped by fear after the existence of demons among humans is revealed. As suspicion spreads, people turn against one another, convinced that anyone could be a demon disguised in human form. When tragedy strikes Akira, his mind breaks and retreats into his subconscious. This frees Amon, his devilish alter ego, to escape the confines of Akira’s body and wreak havoc on humans and demons alike.
