Ao no Fuuin

After moving to a new city, Soko begins to feel mysteriously ill. Her beauty draws unwanted attention, especially from Kashi, who disappears while trying to rape her. Days later, another man appears and claims to be Kashi, though everyone except Soko believes him. He reveals that he is Akira, the Byakko of the Western family, and says Soko is the reincarnation of Souryo, queen of the Oni of the Eastern family. The Oni are monsters who must eat humans to survive, and Akira says he alone is destined to kill her and erase her lineage from Earth. Soko struggles to understand whether she is truly a monster, why she has human memories, and whether she can escape her fate and stay alive.
