Aoko paints ceramics at Hasami Wares Pottery, where her work and life are shaped by a passion for pottery. When Tatsuki, an aloof and inhospitable man returning from abroad, unexpectedly arrives, he tells her he dislikes painted ceramics. Aoko is disappointed, yet she cannot help being drawn to the pieces he makes. As the two share their interest in pottery, their connection develops into a mature love story between a man and a woman.
