Arthur Pyuty wa Yoru no Majo

A worldwide bacterial infection reveals that humans are ruled by supernatural beings from folklore. The illness, first isolated in South America, begins with fever and vomiting and can leave its victims in a coma; those who awaken gain extraordinary intelligence and can see the hidden rulers among them. Arthur Pyuty, a witch who once governed a kingdom while posing as a human, is exposed when the infection’s effects make her true nature visible. Humans revolt against her and the other supernatural beings, who once held positions of political power, and begin hunting them. Arthur and her assistant Ataru, a zombie, travel from place to place to evade their pursuers and search for a way to restore the former order.
